March 5/09 Minutes
1. Mtg. called to order 7:30 (31 Attendees)
2. Raffle 50/50 total Raised $106.00-$53.00 to winner "Ronda Cook"
3. Notice of new members , Welcome , Dave Van Walleghem" & "Carey Hunnie"
4. Note: Membership fees are due by next meeting to qualify for club subsidies.
5.2008 Financial Report,by Al Leiman (Treasure),copies were handed out.
Well done "Al" Motion to except report 1st Bob,2nd Jim
6. Short discussion on executive size,outcome/not required @ this time.
Members are welcome to help out!
7. Club Outings
.Sept 11th-13th CEA Challunge @ LOTW's
. Oct 2nd-5th Eagle Lake/Cedar Point Lodge
.Oct 16th-18th Minaki
. Possible Lac Seul outing Special guest Linda Rice "Musky Momma"will attend next meeting .
8. BSS
. for tickets see Al Leiman
. for prize drop off/contact Ron Poirier @ 835-1073 or 479-6187
. New idea brought forward, by Bob BuickMaster, to include a possible reader board, of some form, because people could not hear , numbers called out. A reader board will give a visual look at the numbers as there called!
.Craig Ferris mentioned the idea of having the Bomber Cheerleaders draw & call out the winning tickets, in order to speed up the process.
9. Walleye Derby
.Lake Winnipeg, March 21/09
.PWT Pro's will be attending
.list of names were taken for those who wish to participate on the CEA Fishing Team.
10.Discussion on new Club Jackets & Hats at the next meeting.
11. 10 Min. Break & Raffle
.$170.00 raised 12 lures & hats as prizes
12. Musky Stocking , a mention of the possibility of having a university biologist student write a thesis on our Musky stocking program.
13. Mtg. Adjourned (9:30)
